Over £2 a Head Paid At Ashburton

ASHBURTON, This day. The highest price for flock ewes in Canterbury for some years was paid yesterday, 161 two-tooth^ Corriedales sold on account of Cochrane Brothera realising 52/6. The ewes, a particularly good line with big frames and well covered with dense wool, were part of a flock of 781 whieh avoraged considerably over £2 a head.
