New Zealand Successes at Sydney (Beceived 24, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 2,3.{ The horses were judged at the Eoyal Show to-day, the entries numbering 3000, or 700 more than last ysar, but. there were only three entries in the stallion thofoughbred section, the winner of whieh was the former New Zealander, Deputy Ruler, while the others wero the xninor racing performer Dignus, whieh came second, and the. veteran Valamita, whieh gained third awardCompetition in the Clydesdale classes was very keen, New Zealand-bred predominating as in previous years. The award for stallion, three years or over, went to Mr T. Bobson's Snperb, imported from NeW Zealand, whieh was Buccessful in other sections. The cattle saies at the show opened auspiciously, bidding being spirited. The highest price for Shorthorn was 305 gnineas.
