TWO GIFT PARTIES FOR EASTER BRIDE

Miss Ivy Flack, who is to be an Easter bride, has been the guest of honour at several jolly gift parties. The first of these was given by Mrs Byan, senr., at her home in Charlotte Crescent, Hastings, where the drawing room was most beautifully decorated with cactus and pom pom dahlias. Dancing to inusic played by Messrs Smith and Donovan was enjoyed until the arly hours o£ the morning and during an interval a delicious supper was handed round. After 'supper the guest of honour opened her parcels which diselosecL a marvellous i/l'ray of k/Selien gifts. On behalf of hi» flance Mr J. Vance thanked everyone for their gifts and the hostess for the very jolly evening The guests present included Mesdames Byan, Begley, Golds, Dunn, Newriek and Japj Misses M. Willet, M. Wall, M. Newrick, D. Geddis; Messrs Byan (5), J. Vance, T. Conghlon, E. Herries, J. Sullivan, C. Jay, C. Newrick, B. Maine, P. Donovan, J. Smith, G. Hope, L. Gilmore, B. Griffiths, J. Morrigan, G. Garey, Watson (2), JBegley. Another party was given at the home of Mrs Humphreys, where the evening was spent in novel games and competitions, all the guests enthusiastically taking part. The floral decorations in the drawing-room were most artistically arranged and included bowls of asters and zinnias mingled ' with asparagus fern.
