Miss B. Kingston, Waipawa, has left on a holiday- visit to Marton Mrs Iiiggs, Otane, has returned from an extended holiday spent with her daughter, Mrs Morley, Gisborne. Messrs W. T. Edgecombe and B. G; Atkms, who have left for Auckland, en route to England for the Coronation, were farewelled at a function held at the Waipukurau Club. There was a large attendance and a pleasant time was spent. Tbe president of the club, 3\lr C. Pattison, presented Mr Edgecombe with a pipe and Mr.Atkins with a rug and a cheque.
