WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Railways seeured a narrow victory over Flemington, winning by 12 runs. Flemington in their first innings compiled 64 (H. Syme 14, Engebretsen 12; Bendeich four for 27, Steel four for 22), and Railways replied with 50 (McLaggen 14; Fahey four for 19, Ennor four for 15, Syme two for 9). In their second innings Flemington made 73 (H. Syme 19, Fahey 19; Bendeich four for 21, Farfell four. for 4) and Railways knocked up 98 (Dilworth 30, Foster 16, Bendeich 17, Marfell 13; Ennor five for 46, Ellingham four for 23). Hatuma, playing their last game of the season on their own' ground in the week-end, were defeated by Waipukurau Old Boys' team by 62 runs on the first innings. Old Boys batted first and compiled 199 (Smales 85 not out, Wilson 44, Rankin 11, Bliss 16, Monteith 10, Anderson 10; Walsh three for 53, Knight four for 53, "Wyatt two for 18). Hatuma replied wi.th 137 (Matthews 14, Walsh 13, Saxon 31, C. Wilson 23, Chapman 25, Robinson 10; Monteith two for 23, Sharpin two for 14). Patangata defeated Winlove's by 31 runs. In their first innings Winlove's compiled 70 (Rack 11, Lane 13, Bryce 16; Drinkow three for 39, Curley five for 20). Patangata replied with 138 (Stevens 50, Sharp 30, Rangi 23; Bryce seven for 46. Lane three for 50). l'n their second knock Wiplove's made 93 (Rack 13, Lane 41, Bryce 14; Curley five for 24, Drinkrow three for 34), and Patangata compiled 57 (Egglestone 17; Bryce seven for 27, Lane four for 27).
