PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Mrs A. L Isdale, of Campbell stre'et, Wairoa, has left for a holiday visit to New Plymouth. Mrs A. Young, Campbell street, Wairoa, has returned from a visit to Auckland. Sergeant D. Clark has returned to Wairoa from Auckland where he spent a holiday. Mr and Mrs R. Russell, Palmerston North, who have been visiting relatives at Wairoa, have returned home. Mr W. Irlam, Wellington, and Mr L.McLachlan, were visitors To Makotuku during the week-end, as guests of Mr and Mts J. Palmer. Mr J. Foster, of the Waipukurau railway staff, has been transferred on promotion to Ohakune. Mr W. Golly, Makotuku, who is on annual leave, hafc left with Mrs and ' Miss Golly and Miss E. Harris, of Ngamoko, on a motor tour of the North Island. Mr D. E. Wilson has arrived from Christchurch to stay with his mother, Mrs E. Wilson, Ormondville, for the Easter holiday. Mrs Edwin Hosking, with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr and Mrs Frank Hosking, formerly well-known residents of Ormondville, now of Pahiatua, were visitors to Ormondville at the weekend. Mrs Morley and Mr G. Morley, old residents of Otane, and now of Gisborne, paid a visit to Otane during the week-eurl. Mr and Mrs F. Rawsthorn, South Norsewood, have gone to Christchurch. They will return to Wellington uext Saturday and sail by the Arawa for England. Mr and Mrs Rawsthorn are from Yorkshire and Wales respflctively, and earae to New Zealand 28 years ago. They will attend the Coronation I and visit relatives, being absent from New Zealand for at least six months.
