Keen Demand at Napier Oddments Sale PRICES FOR SKINS FIRM At th© usual sal© of sheepskius, hides and oddments in Napier biddingi was very keen on both skins and hides. Prices for skins were on a par with those at the last sale, held in FebruR^y. Hides wero in demand, showing a rise of up to 2d. on cow and ox. Yearlings were correspondingly dearer, and calf were on* about the same level. The range of prices was as follows: — Dry sheep skins— Half-bred, | to full-woolled, 14fd to 17^d ; thi'ee-quar-ter-bred, £ to full-woolled, 15d to 16£d ; crossbred, fine to full-woolled, 14£d to 17^d, nledium 13fd to 16d, coarse, 13Jd to 15^d; lambs, 11^ to 16Jd; hoggets, 12£d to 15£d ; half-woolled, ll£d to 15d; quarter-woolled, 8Jd to 14^d; dead, 8Jd to 14£d; pelts, 6fd to 10ld. Ox hides. — 331bs to 441bs. 7 5-8d; 46lhs to "521bs. 7£d. ; 531bs. to 591bss 9£d to 9Jd; 601bs to 691bs 9 5-8d; 70lbs and over, 9fd to 9^d; cut, 8d. to 9d.
