There was quite a fair attendanpe at the card party and dance held in the liaumQana Hall on Thursday evening, A very pleasant evening, was spent, cards being played till 10.30 when everyone joined in dancing to splendid music played by Mr W. McCarthy, The winners of the tourney were : — Women, Miss Thomson 1, Miss Moore 2. Men : Mr Haggerty 1, Mr Horton 2. Consolation prizes : Miss Templeton and Mr Tearle.
