TE KUITI, LaBt Night, This afternoon a farewell testimonial was presented to Mr W. J. BrosCfifoot, member for Waitomo, and MrS Broadfoot on the eve of their departure attend the Coronation. The ceremony took place on the town gardens, and Mr Broadfoot was presented with a draft for £290 from the electors of the southj ern and middle sections of his elector- . ate. Representatives from all parts of j the district paid tribute to Mr Broadfoot's work in. local affairs and in Parliament. It is understood that a further presontation will be made iu the northern part of the electorate, Mr Broadfoot is one of the Parliamentary representatives to the Coronation. Both he and Mrs Broadfoot leave by the Arawa on the 28th.
