Why Intervenor Withdrew. (Received 20, 1-5 p.m.) LONDON, March 19. Mr Francis Stephenson, in an interview, revealed that King Edward'# broadcast after his abdication was one of the factors deciding him to withdraw his intervention. "I heard the broadcasfe on that memorable Friday evening," said Mr* Stephenson. He had been my king and you will remember what he saidj fI found it impossibie to carry on the heavy burden of responsibility witfiout the help and support of the woman I love, ' and I thought, that man 's Euman. I still have respeet, sympathy and loyalty for him and I will not do anything to hurt or inconvenience him."
