Mrs Simpson Refuses tq Comment DUKE PHONES LONDON (Received 20, 12.35 p.m.) LONDON, March 19. Mr Francis Stephenson was manag* ing clerk of a solicitors' firm in London for a month. Mrs Simpson was informed by tele* phone of the decision and did not comment, but it is understood that she is greatly relieved and is reported to have immediately telephoned the Duke of Windsor. Mr Herman Rogers, whose wife she is visiting, says: "Mrs Simpson knew nothing of the intervener or his no tives." A message from Enzesfeld says that the Duke of Windsor was up early and after a hurried breakfast, had eeveral telephone calls to London. It is reported from th© Castle that he appeared nervous as he wandered about the building and grounds. He had planned to g)0 to Yienna in the morning, but postponed the trip until the afternoon.
