Five-Mile Harrier Race ATHLET1C HANDICAPS For the first time in the history oi athletics in Hawke's Bay a five-.niJe harrier race will be included in the athletic programme on the Puketapu sports ground. To-morrow afternoon wiU see this outstanding event take place. The race will start and finish on fche running track. On leaving the track the runners wiU traverse fc truo cross-country course and will be in Eull view of, the public througnoat the race. Included in the fieltl are Hawke's Bay's leading harriers and a most exciting and interesting race is gfromised. The race will be run . under the championship system, all the runners starting off together, with a sealed handicap in conjunction with the championship.
