PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Mrs A. T. Glenny, of Morere, and Mrs V. Bluck, ot Nuhaka, are to visit the Old Country. Mrs Glenny is to visit Scotland, where her parents reside, as well as her brothers and sisters. Mrs V. Bluck, who is to be accompanied by her two children, Norman and Gwen will visit her father and relatives in Staffordsbire. Mrs P. C. Ward, who has been visiting friends at Porangahau, has returned to her home at Otawhao. Miss L. Paget, Takapau, has returned home after undergoing a serious operation in a private hospital in Dannevirke. The members of the District Management Committee present at the Oddfellow's conference in Waipukurau included Bro. P. C. Smitb, P.G., of Dannevirke. Mrs George Harding and her children, Wanganui, are spending a holiday in Makotuku as the guests of Mr and Mrs Gordon Harding. Miss AnnJe Webb, Ormondville town clerk and Scoutmistress, is a paticnt in the Dannevirke Hospital. Mrs A. Sinytke, Wellington, ts spending a holiday in Makotuku as the guest of Mrs P. W. Auderson Mr and Mrs S. Wright, Westshore Napier, were visitors to Makotuku for tlie sports meeting, and were the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Hammond Mr It. K. ("Dick") Eliingham, who eaptained the Dannevirke representative Rugby team for several years, is I ieaving the district shortly. He has - accepted the appointment of assisfcant field instritctor at Te Kuiti with the Auckland Lands and Survey Department, and will begju his duties ou April 1
