Taranaki Hospital Board Exoneraied

fBy Telegraph-

NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Charges of corruption and malpraclic6 against members of the Taranaki Hospital Board were completely refuted in reports received by the bo.ard from the Health Department to-day. An aged man who had been employed by the board, but had been dismissed, wrote to the department making complaints against board members. Tho department appointed an audit inspector to investigate, and his report was made available to the board- to-day, to-. gether with a letter from the Minister of Health completely vindicating the board. The allegations were described as absurd. The board, in the meantime, decided to accept the advice of its solicitors not to take action against the person who made the allegations.
