Mrs. Harriet Pedersen

NORSEWOOD, Last Night.. The death occurred on Sunday of Mrs. Harriet Pedersen, a well-known and much beloved early settler. She came to New Zealand with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Powell, in the Bebington, about 63 years ago. She lived for many years in Pukehou and Otane and later in the Norsewood district. Next montk wouid have seen the celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Pedersen 's golden wedding. Of late years Mrs. Pedersen had not enjoyed the best of health, but she bore her suffering with patience and fortitude. . In addition to her husband, she leaves a family of four sons and one daughter — Messrs. Chris, Ivan, Howard and Eric, and Miss Harriet Pedersen — to mourn their loss. The funeral took place at the Ormondville cemetery this afternoon.
