Members stood.in silpnce as a mark of respect.for the late Mr. 0, J. Nairn, who was president of the club until his death. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. A. McHardy; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. G. C. Williams, E. Gilbertson, G. F. McHardy, E. C. Nation, R. B. Nation, A. D. Kittow, J. Gillespie, T. Gillespie, \A. D. Wallace, D. W. Lethbridge, C. Laverty, T. G. Price, D. Ritchie, R. Bell, D. Butler, D. Herrick, R. King, W. Oliver, G." Harvey, , H. Burt, W. Bennett, D. Williams, Smith Bros., D. McHardy, J. Goulding, and Johnson Bros. of Tamumu; treasurers, Messrs. B. Wallace and R. Bell; selector and coach, Mr. W. Birdsall; dele» gates to sub-union, Messrs. R. Bell and 'G. Harvey. After much discussion it was decided to ehter a" senior team in the competion in'Central Hawke's Bay this year. Yotes of thanks were passed to the ladies -for , their . services iri providing . ref reshriients and to supporters who gave the- use of their cars. A vote of . thanks was passed to 'Mr. Goulding for' the" use of the grounds last season and for his offer of the grounds again this year. . • .- The club's own insurance fund is to be carried on to; cover accidents during practice and friendly games.
