Dr. Berry to Represetit Hospital Board Dr. J. Allan Berry has been appointed to represent the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board on the exeeutive of the New Zealand Five Million Club, an organisation recently formed at the instigation of the Hon. W. E. Barnard, M.P., with the objective of increasing the Dominion's population. "VVhen Dr. Berry suggested at yesterday 's board meeting that the medical superintendent, Dr. J. J. Fojey, be the board's representative, Dr, Foley repliod; "I think I've already made my contribution to the cause. Dr. Berry would be a far better representative." On the motion of the chairman, Mr C. Lassen, Dr. Berry was appointed accordingly. Tbe seeretary of the Dive Million Club ontlined the organisation's aim and aspirations in its letter, and Messrs C. O. Morse and C. Duff exprosoed the view yesterday that the movement was a m:st worthy one.
