Hastings Team for WelHngton Chosen
The following players have been chosen to represent Hastings in th© annual Gannet Cup match against Wellington Colts, to be played this year in Wellington at Easter: — L. McCarthy (Hastings), captain, S. McCdnn (Hastings), R. Mitchell (Hastings), W. Love (Hastings), S. Rouse (Heretaunga), T. Milne (Rugby), A. Mahoney (United), I. Snaddon (H.H.S.O.B.), J. Christison (Whakatu), — Drinkrow (Otane), — Stephenson (Havelock). All players must attend practice tonight and Thursday at Nelson Park, Hastings. The team will leave Hastings by train (10.22 p.m,) on Thursday, March 25, and leave Wellington on Tuesday morning, March 20. Easter Saturday will be free for players to see the M.C.C. v. New Zealand match. All clubs represented must supply a bat and pair of pads. Players requiriug billets or not available should notify the selector, Mr. E. Mitchell, or the secretary, 'Phone 2244, immediately.
