"THE GBEAT ZIEGFELD." "The Great Ziegfeld" screens at thS Eegent Theatre to-night. Not only does it contain muai^ cal spectacles of the best quality but, in a story suggested by the iife of the one and only Ziegfeld, it presente drama that will draw tears to the eyea of the most blase theatregoer. Topping this 5-ring circus of entertainment are found William Powell in the role of Ziegfeld, Myra Loy as Billie Burke and Luise Rainer as Anna Held. VVithout contradiction, Powell doee the hnest work of his career as the great glorifier of beauty. For her ro]® of Anna Held Luise Rainer won the acting award for this year and Myr® Loy as the lovely Billie Burke is at her lovliest. The drama alone could well be classed as one of the best of the screen, but this picture does nof stop with drama. It has music and beautiful girls presented in the most spectacular fashion in the many arcas« ing numbers. Some of the tunes were made famous in Ziegfeld stage shows, and others, particularly "You," wer® written originally for this extrava* ganza. Reservations by phone must be claimed by 7.45 p.m.
