30 Realise Total of £970 The Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-op. Association with. which is associated Hoadley, Son and Stewart, Ltd., report having held a very successful sale pf ponies at the first annual sale held by the Hawke's Bay Polo Club on the racecourse, Hastings, on Saturday. A total of 30 ponies was offered and the following are the details of those sold, the total value being £970: — On account of Mr. R. B. Nelson, Mangateretere, one nine-year bay mare, to Mr. N. L. Parsons, Waitotara, at 40 gns. On account of Mr. R. B. Nelson, one aged black gelding, to Mr. Hamish Wilson, Burleigh, Bulls, at 30gns. On account of Mr. H. L. G. Drummond, Havelock North, to. Mr Hamish Wilson, one bay gelding at 35gns. On account of Mr. A. Anderson, Atua Station, to Mr. D. J. McFarlane, Glenaros, one six-year grey mare at 31gns. On account of Mr. T. Gaddum, Gisborne, to Mr. A. Robson, Poukawa, one eight-year bay mare at 76gns. ' On account of Mr. T. Gaddum to Mr. G. F. McHaTdy, Waipawa, one aged bay mare, at 35gns. On account of Mr. T. Gaddum to Capt. J. Goring Johnson, Waipawa, one aged bay gelding at 55gns. On account of Mr. Bruce McKenzie, Gisborne, to Capt. J. Goring- Johneon, one seven-year black mare at 40gns. On account of Mr. Bruce McKenzie to Mr. R. H. Lowry, Taihape, one aged roan gelding at 50gns. On account of Mr B. Morris, Tologa Bay, to Mr. R. H. Lowry, one four-year chestnut gelding at 65gns. On account of Mr. W. McKenzie, Tologa Bay, to Mr. D. H. Riddiford, Featherston, one seven-year bay gelding, at 46gns. On account of Mr. W. McKenzie, to Mr G. D. McHardy, Waipawa, one sixyear bay gelding at 60gns. On account of Mr. W. McKenzie, to Mr. Hugh O. Wilson, Mangatapu, Bulls, one nine-year Brown mare at 42gns. On account of Mr. J. B. Fletcher, to Mr. Henry Hintz, Taihape, one threeyear cheetnut filly at 40gne. On account of Mr. B. Vallance, Masterton, to Mr. N. M. Campbell, Poukawa, one seven-year chestnut mare at 75gns. On account of Mr. E. W. Ormond, Hastings, to Mr. D. H. S. Riddiford, one ftie-year bay mare, lOOgns. On account of Mr. F. B. Donnelly, Hastings, brown gelding eight-year-old, to Mr. N. E. F. Loisel, Tologa Bay, 90 gns.
