0 Man Intoxieated in Charge FORTNIGHTS' GAOL

WELLINGTON, March 13. Fourteen days' hard labour and cancellation of his driver's licence for twelve months was imposed on a labourer, Victor Stanley Lavin, who pleaded guilty to intoxication while in charge. It was stated that at 9 o'eloek last night he drove into a parked car and baeked into another, pushing it into a third. He then drove into an adjaeent street and crashed into a concrete wall with such" fbrce that the car could mt be driven away. .When a constable • rrived he was standing beside it in a jtate of intoxication,
