MISS' J. SMITH On. Saturday evening last, the staff and management of Westerman and Co., met to say farewell to Miss Joan Smith, whose marriage will he solemnised at an early date. Miss Smith, who> is held in the highest esteem by her business assoeiates, was the recipient of a bronze firescreen from the staff and of an eiderdown quilt from th© firm. In brief eulogy Mr Westerman sincerely commended Miss Smith for her faithful and enthusiastic servic© and, on belialf of all present, wished her long life, good health and fullest happiness in th© future.
