Bowling, Waite took four for 83, Grimmett, three for 52. Williams, two for 46. South Australia, in its second innings, made 78. A. Ryan was top scorer with 19, Bradman made 8 and Badcoek a duek. MeCormick went through the South Australians and finished with nine for 40. Victoria, in its second innings, lost none for 22 and appear to have the shield well wiihin tlxoir grasp.
