TIKOKINO SPORTS

The only complaint that reached the secretary of the Tikokino Sports Club after ite annual gathering last year was one from a visitor from Southland. This gentleman demanded a refund of ninepence on his gate money. His complaint was that he had paid to see athletic events, chopping, horse events, dog events, dancing and boxing events. There had, however, been so much on at onee that he had been able to see only a quarter of it! He therefore considered himself entitled to a refund of ninepence for what he hadn't seen!
