Joe Kirkwood, the golfer, on arriva. froax New Zealand said: "The 40-houx week is killing the tourist business in the Dominion. It is impossibl© to purchase food of any description after seven p.m. Tourists generally, and Americans in particular, are bitterly complaining about this. "Walter Hagen and I have just concluded a ten-days tour of New Zealand. Our exhibitions invariably ended late and the r-esult was that only twice during the tour were we ablo to have dinner at night. It is a case of take your own food with you or starve. "
