WAIPAWA, Last Night. It is reported that the seeond-hand motor-car which was purchased for the work of the Waipawa branch oi the Plunket Society and which the committee decided to resell as the result of a motion adopted at a general meeting, has been disposed of at an advantage on the price originally paid for it. * Dressmaking and Woodworklng. Th© response of those desirous of joining the dressmaking and woodworking classes which the Waipawa Tfeclxnical Association propose to estabiish has not been encouraging, only seven having registered for the former and six for the latter. TJnless additional students are enrolled it is quite probable that the Education Board will not sanction the restarting of the classes. \ In this event the association will be disestablished and the funds in hand wjll revert to the department. tt is to be hoped that this opportunity to secure "tuition in two very' useful subjects iwill not be allowed to pass.
