CLIVE FAREWELL PARTY

An evening v/us recently held at Clive to farewell Miss Gladys Gregory, who has been n member or the Women's Institute since its inception. The evening took the fonn of a surprise party and was held at the residence oi' her lnother. A very huppy evening was spent in comrnunity singirig, competitions. games and dancing. Conipetitioii'S were won by Mrs Fenwick, Mrs Frank Merritt and Muster AriiohJ Gregory. Mrs George Merritt, in a very pleasing speech, wished the guest of honour everythiug of the best and presented i her with a brush and comb as a tokcn of appreciation from the inemberB. 'r
