FAREWELL PARTY FOR NAPIER RESIDENTS

Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Hill, Napierj "who are shortly going to reside in Wanganui, were tendered recently a farewell evening by Mr. and Mrs. K. M. Boswell, in their home on Guy's Hill. Mrs. Boswell recteived in a modish frock of black flat crepe patterned m green and gold. Mrs. Hill was frocked in brown figured satin, with which she wore a gold lame coatee. The drawing room was decorated with bowls of choice dahlias and zinnias. The evening was devoted to llridge and after supper Mr. Boswell, on behalf of the friends present, made a neat little speech and with their united good wishes presented Mr. and Mrs. Hill with a handsome reading lamp. Mr. Hill suitably replied. Guests present were Mr. and Mrs. L. Hill, Mr. and Mrs. W. Newton, Mr. and Mrs. A. Pellow, Mr. and Mrs. Ian Hannah, Mr. and Mrs. A. Pacey, Mr. and Mrs. C. McNaught, Missea E. Lopdell, Jordan and T. Hardy-Gibson; Messrs L. Hay-Chapman and M. A. Finis.
