Pirates Clab Meets OFFICERS FOR SEASON Sixty members and intending naembers were present at the annual general meeting of the Napier Pirate Football Club on Tuesdav evening. Mr. L. Diue, ex-captain of the Hawke's Bay Rugbyr ropresentatives, was elected president succeeding Mr. Bryce Tweedie, who wa,s appointed a life member. The election of officers xesulted as follows: — Patron, Mr. W. Corbett; vieepatron, Mr. E. T. Rees; president, Mr. L. Dine; vice-presidents. Messrs. H. H. Douglas, E. A. Young, F. Cray, H. H. Wylie, M. L. Smith, A. Lopdell and 1?. N. McNivenj club captain, Mr. G. Marshall; viee captain, Mr. L. Russell; hon. physical -instructors, Sergeant-Major J. Kearney and Mr. G. Keeblo (senior); eustodian, Mr.- G. Marshall; football custodian, Mr. J. Gilray; coaches, Mr. N. Kivoll (senior), Mr. J. MeNamara (junior), one still to be appointed for the thirds, Mr. L. Russell (fourths); hou. auditor, Mr. G. C. Laws; hon. treasurer, Mr. J. W. Laws, hon. secretary, Mr. F. A. Foote; delegates to H.B.R.U., Messrs. E. A. Young and B .Tweedie; committee, Messrs. N. Morris, Bob Keeble, G. Christie, M. McNiven, J. Kilpatrick, D. McKendrick and T. Grouden. The following new members were elected: — J. Olsen, M. Scholes, A. McGregor, L. Rosman, J. Watts, N. Atkinson, G. Morgan, D. Hamilton, B.. Fallerton, L. Boyd, C. Sorenson, L. Redshaw, J. O'Donnell, T. Ferguson, B. Crutchley, J. Hammond and S. Richards. c It was .decided to start practices on Saturday next, in anticipation of the Easter Pirate tournament. Last year's president, Mr. Bryce Tweedie, was appointed a life hiember in recognition of his loyal service and support to the club since 1908.
