Hawke's Bay Association TOURNAMENT ARRANGEMENTS A meeting of tbe executive of the Hawke's Bay Boxing Association. was held in Hastings last evening, Mr. J, D. Donovan presiding over a good attendance. , , The match committee' s matching oi Gildo and Stock for next Monday wai confirmed and the following officiats were appointed for the tournament : — Referee, Mr. • J. Steevens; judges, Messrs. J. Dexter and B. Shadbolt ; time-keepers, Messrs. V. H. Collelo and H. Connop; announcer, Mr. D. M. Campbell ; ringside stewards, Messrs. 3. D. Donovan and E. -Wall; wejght s stewards, Messrs. l. J. B. Hammdnd and A. Donovan; doctor's steward, Mr. R: de Lisle; house manager, Sir. H. G. Apperley. It was decided to stage five amateur preliminary bouts, including a special four-round contest between Jack Davia, the Hawke's Bay lightweight ehampion, and the Auckland champion. It was also agreed to stage an exhibition bout fcetweeu Billy Martin, the Australian professionai welterweight champion aua E. Kit, the Hawke's Bay, amateur welterweight champion.
