H.B. Team For Dominion Championships SHARPLEY'S CONDITION The Hawke 's Bay team for the track and field championships to be field in Auckland next Friday and Saturday do parted from Napier at 6 a.m. this morning, and they should Teach Auckland by 5 p.m. this evenirtg. Frank Sharpley was one of the party, but it is extremely dooibtful if he will defend his hurulo titles due to the leg injury he sustained at the recent Hawke's Bay championship meeting. The following atliletes made the journey: — W. J. Fitssimmons, 10'J and , 220 yards; R. Phillips, 100 yards and 220 yards; R. Longley, 880 yard«; E. Phillips, field events; R. Johnson, field events; P. Begloy and A. C. Bn'd, 44:J yards hurdles; 1. Driscoll, walking events; F. Shaipley, 120 yards and 220 yards hurdles; H- Husheer and V. McGutcheon, handicap events. G. Quinn (Gisborne) will join the team in Auckland this evening. The women 's relay team, comp'ising the Misses R. Toug, D. Swayne, N. Henderson and J. Pmico, will depart to-mor-row morning. All will returu next Sunday. Owing to the ebsence of so many athletes at the New Zealand athletic championship meeting • at Auckland, there will be no sports meeting on McLean Park, Napier, to-morrow night.
