Frontier Well Protected By Fortresses (Eeceived 10, 8.45 a.m.) BERHN, March 9. The first admission of the fortification of the Ehineland was made by Major Jost, of the "War Ministry, in an article eommemorative of the first anniversary of the reoccupation. He said: — "Without slavish imitation of the French Maginot Line, needing many years and countless millions of pounds to create, the German frontier territory now enjoys again to-day the protection of fortresses."
