YJGE-REGaL. The Governor-General, Vi-scounc Galway, arrived at Auckland from Wellington yesterday morning. His Excellency, who was accompanied by Sir Standish O'Grady Roche, will remain in Auckland until March 24, when he will return to Wellington. Lady Gnlway has already returned to Auckland. Mrs N. McFarlane loft Hastings yesterday on a short visit to Christchurch. Miss Dulcie Oliver has returned to Napier from a month 's holiday spent in the Manawatu and Wellington districts. Mrs. Hubert Browning, Maraekakaho, is the guest of Miss Every Barker, To Hapara, Gisborne. Mr. and Mrs. Humphrey Bayly, oi Nuhaka, and Mr. and Mrs. H. M. B. de Lautour, of Wairoa, sail on March 18 on a visit to Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. W. Graham, fNgakaroa," Ormond, are the guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H. Rathbone, Waipawa, Mrs. 0. Mortimer-Jones, the Vicarage, Hastings, accompanied her husband, . lanon Mortimer-Jones, to Wellington this morning to hid him farewell wlien he sails by the Bangitiki on Saturday.
