Driver's Lucky Escape ACCIDENT IN LEVIN I

WELLINGTON, Last Night. A eollision occurred 8.33 p.m. tonight between a goods train travelling to Wellington and a light car driven by Mr Samuel Howell, of Levin. The car was turned over several times but tho occupant escaped with bruises only. The accident occurred at the Levin Queen street interseetion. The driver of the train noticed the car from about two train lengths away and applied the emergency brakes which lessened the impact, but the car was hit amidsktoS.
