Mrs Wallis Simpson's Trip Through France WILL STAY NEAR PARIS

(Received 9, 2.45 p.mfl.) LONDON, March 8. The Daily Mail's Pariis correspondent says that the greatest secrecy surrounded Mrs Wallis Simpson rs departnre for Tours. Clad in a black tailored costume and a black threecornered hat, she l3lipped out of the side entrance at the Villa Lou Velei at 7 o'clock in drizzling rain, accompanied by Mr and Mrs Herman Rogers. A detective specially sent from London travelled in the car, which had a changed number plate and was followed by a second car containing French detectives. Mrs Simpson is spending the night at an hotel in a little village near Avignon, the identity of which iB unrevealed. She goes on in the morning to the beautiful Renaissance Chateau of Cande 20 miles from Tours, which stands in 1500 acres of gardens and grounds, owned hy an American, Mr Charles Bedaux. Mr Herman Rogers says: "Mr and Mrs Bedaux have been our friends for many years. They asked Mrs Simpson and ourselves to be their guests for as long afc we like." The Mail understands that Mrs Simpson has changed her Tesidence becanse she wishes to be within easy reach of Paris to enable frequent journeys in connection with her trousseau.
