According to the - official organ of the Society of Chemical and Air Defence, "over 1,500,000 women, belong to the society, of whocn nearly a million aTe qualifled nurseB. Half a million are heing trained as Bharpshooters. There are many women airforee pilots, including some squadroneommandera."
