WELLINGTON, Last Night. Misrepresentation in the sale of • a complete set of the second edition of Halsbury's "Laws of Englana" was alleged by John Burns Crichton, solicitor, of Palmerston North, against Butterworth and Co. (Australia) Ltd., •law and medical publishers, >u a civil .action in the Supreme Court to-day, 'Plaintiff alleged thero had been a breach of warranty in that volumea supplied to him wero not new and h( sougbt to recover £57 3s, the amount paid by him for the books together witb £30 damages for breach of warranty. The case will continue to-morrow..
