Clubs Hold Annuai Meetings NAPIER TECHNICAL O.B. A plea that the club's older membecrs should help the club by coaching was advanced by tbe pbairman, Mr RFerguson, at tbe annuai meeting of the Napier Technical Old Boys' Football dub beld last evening. By so doing, he said, they could assist considerably in maintainingi tbe club's present bigb position. Mr Ferguson also noticed witb regret tbat a number of subscriptions v/ere outstanding, and be requested members to pay tbeir club fees more promptly. in tbanking tbe club for re-electing bim as patron, Mr lt. McLaren assured tbe members tbat his active mterest in tbo ciuh would endure for a long timo. He Caso assured tbe club tbat it deserved congratulation for tne splendid spirit existing among tiie memters. Tbe club was, in tbis respect, superior to any otbera with wbicb be bad com© into contact. Regret was expressed by Mr Rouse at tbe retirement of Mr F. S. Nortbe from tbe position of honorary secretary, and on bis motion the customary bonorarium was granted. Mr McLaren's remarks on tbe excellent club spirit wero later endorsed by Mr Rouse, wbo remarked tbat tbe failures of football clubs tbat be bad known bad been mainly du© to a lack of co-operation among tbe members and tbe growth of cliques within tbe club. It was- decided tbat tbe teams to be entered for tbe competitions should be tbe sam© as during tbe previous season — viz., senior, junior, third and fourtb grades. Saturday. Marcb 20, was fixed as tbe date of tbe first practice, and in tbis connection the desirability of members being punctual at practices was stressed. * Tbe election of officers resulted as follows: — ^Patron, Mr R.
