CONTROL OF CATTLE
Need For Capable Drovers Attention to the large numbers of stoek that were lately travelling over the Westshore embankment was drawn at to-day 's meeting of the H.B. County Council. After a ■ brief discussion it was decided that the engineer should report on the feasibility of providing a stoek route along the embankment. Mr C. C. Bmith raised the uestion of control of stoek on the embankment. He stated that a mob of 130 cattle reeently passed through Westshore and, over the embankment, being in the charge of a boy. No control was exereised with the result that several fences were broken through. The council agreed that mobs of stoek should be under the contiol of capable drovers.
