Meeting of Committee The monthly meeting of the Taradale, Library Committee was held on Thursday evening, Mr. I. McDonald presiding. Other cnembers present were: Messrs. W. G. Jarvis, J. Wilkinson, J. B. Wainscott, R. Willis, F. O. Anderson, R. Brown, J. Williamson, secretary. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs. R. J. Campbell, Misses R. Martin and M. Matlieson, Messrs F. Wiseman and D. Blair. Correspondence was received from the secretary of the librarians' assis-' tant reporting onsremits and delegates to the biennial conference on February 16 to 18. The chairman- reported that the book entitled "San Michele" was missing, and it was decided to investigate the matter. It was left with the secretary to prepare the report and balance sheet for the annual meeting of subscribers. On the motion of the 'chairman a vote of condolence was passed to Mr. Williamson on the death of his father-in-law, the late Mr. W. Montgomery, of Battery road, Napier.
