Arrangements for Outing

WAIPAWA, Last night. A large and representative meeting of the Waipawa braneh of the Returned Soldiers ' Association was held in the Council Chambers last evening for the purpose of forming committees and completing other necessary arrangements for the cnonster pienic to be held on Coronation Park, Waipawa, on March 21. The president, Mr. H. T. Limbrick, occupied the chair. A comprehensive programme of sports events was drawn up, and eomcnittees were formed to prepare the ground, to superintend the sports, and to make arrangements for the provision of hot water and milk for picnic parties. .It is anticipated that, with favourable weather, the picnic will be the largest that has ever been held in Waipawa, special transport having been arranged from both north and south.
