She was presented with a very pretty Victorian posy in autumn shades by her hostess. Several coiupetitions caused mueh amusement during the afternoon and the winners of these were Mrs. Cooper and the Misses P. Wharton, J. Jenltins and M. McGrath. A delicious afternoon tea was en.•joyed by everyone and then the guest of honour opened her parcels and showed some very attractive gifts for her bathroom, the gifts all suiting the blue eolour scheme. The guests present were: Mesdames E. Smith, Cooper, Robson, Footer, Pegram, Balrer, Jacomb, Misses E. Martin, J. and E. Renouf, Lowe, J. Graham, J. Cooper, P. Wharton, M. Wall, J. Jenkins, M. Young, T. Young, E. Douglas, M. McGrath, I. Lovell-Smith, J. Chappell, N. Geake and M. Jones.
