MR WALTER FORSYTH
The death occurred suddenly at 7.30 o'clock this morning of Mr Walter Forsyth, Napier agent for. the • A.M.P* Society. The late Mt Forsyth, who was born in Fif eshire, Scotland, came to New Zealand in his early twenti.es on transfer to the' Christchurch branch' of f the Union Bank, in which institution he served for many years bfeore coming to Napier 26 years ago. He secured a position with the accountaney; firm of Robert Dobson Co., Ltd., and later with Henry Williams and Sons, * Ltd. He resigned his position with the latter firm to join the staff of the A.M P. Society, not long after which . he was appointed Napier agent. ^ Of a quiet, unassuming personality, Mr Forsyth earned the respect of a large circle of friends in Napier and * other parts of Hawke's Bay, and his de»th this morning will be regretted keenly. He is survived by his widow, two brothers and a sister in Scotland and four daughters, Miss Adele Forsyth, of Napier, Mrs Oliver Scott, of Gisborne, Miss Nesta Forsyth, of -> Christchurch, and Mrs W. Dunningham, of Hastings.
