Wellington Man's Offence at Rangitaiki

TAUPO, This Day. Two charges wero preferred against Arthur Ernest Tilley, Wellington, of comn itting misehief by wilfully destroying by shooting a stallion and mare owned by George Thomas Chalklen, Rangataiki. The former animal was valued at £75 and the mare at £10. The compensation to the owner was settled out of Court and on both charges Tilley was cOnvicted and" ordered to pay witness's expenses axnounting to £2 10/-.
