Offences at Taupo YOUNG MAN FINED

TAUPO, This Day. At the Magistrate's Court, Taupo, before Mr J. Miller, S.M., a young man. Eddie Bteck, of Tokaanu, pleaded guilty to four charges of supplying liquor to natives for oonsumption off licensed premises. He was oonvicted and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £11. He was also charged with taking liquor into Waihi pa, such pa being under the eontrol of the Tongariro Maori Council. The defendant pleaded guilty to this charge also and was con. victed ilnd fined £2 and IS/- costs.
