GOLDEN PROMISE AMISS
Withdrawn From Cup MELBOURNE, March 4. Golden Promise. the N.Z.-bred favourite for the Australian Cup on Saturday, is Teported to be slightly amiss and was unable t-o work this morning. The trouble is in the off foreleg. His trainer, J. Holt, was hopeful that he would be able to start in the Cup, but he did not make the expected improvement and has been seratched from the raco.
