French People in State of Unrest DISORDERS FEARED
(By Telesrraph-
(Received 4, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 3. Th© situation developing in France as a. result of financial difficulties may have serious repercussions in the international situation, conceivably leading. to disorders, in the next few weeks. The Australian Associated Press's political correspondent understands that these developments are arousing considerable concern in London, because Britain is at present so intimately bourid up with France that it would be drawn into any orisis which, moreover, might b© a temptation to Hitler. The French people are in a state of alarm and they find th© dilemma intensified because nobody is anxious to replace the Premier,, M. Leon Blum, whose one chance of saving the situation may be a national appeal, hoping to rally the nation. One of the few factors in his favour is that the army at present very strong, is believed to be entirely unaffeeted by politics.
