It is not a matter of money, the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce' has been informed in conneetion with; its deeision to raise the necessary finance to have Norman Gallichan, one of . Manawatu's Plunket Shield representatives, included in the New Zealand team to tour England. Yesterday Mr. A. J. Graham, presi-. dent of the Chamber, got in touch by telephone with Mr. Donnelly, chairman of the management committee of . the New Zealand Cricket Council, andj was informed definitely that lack ofj finance had been no bar?ier to the inclu-' fion of a fifteen,th man in the team.| The position was that the Cricket Coun-j jil had decided to send only fourteen oaen and those players had been selectjd.
