Manawatu's Plunket Shield representatives, included in the New Zealand team to tour England. Yesterday Mr. A. J. Graham, presi-. dent of the Chamber, got in touch by telephone with Mr. Donnelly, chairman of the management committee of . the New Zealand Cricket Council, andj was informed definitely that lack ofj finance had been no bar?ier to the inclu-' fion of a fifteen,th man in the team.| The position was that the Cricket Coun-j jil had decided to send only fourteen oaen and those players had been selectjd. However, should it eventually be lecided to strengthen the team by sending an extra man, the selectors would be asked to make a further choice.i There the matter xested in the mean-l time. 1
