In our advertising columns tbe Railway Department is calling for tenders for tbe construction of tbe foundations for a new railway bridge over the Waipawa river, near Waipawa, Napier line. A- St. Patriek 's Day ball will be held in the Taradale Town Hall on March 18. The new Majestic Orchesfra will provide the music, and there will be hovelty dances. A free bus leaves the Motor Co., Napier, and Westermau's corner, Hastings, via Clive. Mr. A. Garnett invites tenders for the eroction of residenee near Waipawa. Parents and all' interested are renfiinded of the Hastings High Scliool League's annual meeting this evening at 7.30 o'clock m the Chamber of Commerce room, Karamu road. v
