WOOLWORTH STRIKERS
Sit-Down Method Spreads (Received 3, 8.45 a.m.) DETROIT, March, 2. A sit-down strike has hegun a a second Woolworth store. Union officials said strikes were likely in Woolworth stores in other cities. Company officials refused to negotiate with "Ifhe strikers while they remain in the stores and deeided against their previous shut-down threat.
